What I’ve been up to?

I’m back in Flagstaff and happy to be home. My 5-day trip turned into a 3-week mini vacation.

Storytime at Newport Beach Library
Balto keeping my chair warm
Lizzy keeping my chair warm

I went to the Newport Beach Library storytime with my sister and her two grandchildren. It was a lot of fun. The 8mo old slept through it, but the 18mo old enjoyed it very much.

My dogs kept my favorite reading recliner warm for me while I was away. They aren’t sure they want to give it back to me now that I’m home.

  1. It’s always good to be back home even if you had a wonderful vacation. Balto and Lizzy look quite comfy and very adorable in your chair! Hotel of Secrets looks really good. The cover is so eye catching. Have a great week!

  2. Welcome home, Wendy. I love that you had such a good time with your sister and family. I guess you will have to share with your dogs for a bit. I need to catch up on the bayou series, I have 2 before this one. Enjoy your week and all your upcoming reads.

  3. Glad your chair was well taken care of while you were away 🙂 Looks like you got in some great reading too. Have a great week ahead, Wendy 🙂

  4. Nice that you enjoyed your time with family, but it is nice to get home, right? Lol, your dogs are so cute. It’s like they’re trying to be close to you while you’re gone by sitting in your chair. Haha! Looks like there’s some room to share.

Loved Hotel of Secrets (hope you do too!) and I’ll be reading Murder in Postscript soon. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

  5. Welcome back home. Even though you had a good time visiting, any kind of travel these days is tiring, so rest up with some of those good books and snuggle with your pups! It’s great to see a story time so well attended! Have a great week.

  6. Balto and Lizzy look so cute on the chairs! I’m glad you had a nice trip and are back home. The Lonely Hearts Bookclub looks good. Happy reading this week 🙂

  7. Ah, your dogs are cute! Mine like to steal my chair, or my spot in the bed as soon as I get up, lol. One I can just pick up and move, the other growls at me when I move her. But she weighs 8 pounds, so I get in her face and tell her she’s being silly when she does it. Hope you have a good week!

  8. Janette

I bet you’re glad to be home after such a long while. Even if I love a holiday, I’m still glad when we get back home again. I’m looking to reading the new Bella Moran too.

  9. Murder in Postscript looks like an interesting cozy series. Her Lost Words has me curious as well.
    Have a great week.
