What I’m up to:

I had a quiet week. The weather is really getting nice and I’m just so happy that spring is here!

Last week I read:

I did a fair amount of reading this week! My favorite was The Flatshare. But, they were all good books!

Next week I hope to get to:

What I watched:

Bridgerton season 2 is back! This series is visually stunning. The dresses, the flowers, the diversity, the sets, the locations, it’s all so beautiful to watch. I also love the music. The story is ok, a bit predictable, but it is a romance, I like the main characters, but I love the side characters the best.

  1. I have watched the first five episodes of Bridgerton and agree with all your thoughts. I look forward to seeing Queen Charlotte’s hair, it just blows me away. I still need to read or listen to Flat Share, thanks for the reminder, Wendy.

  2. Wow! Great reading! I haven’t watched Bridgerton but the book that this season is based on is one of my favorites so I’ve been considering trying season 2. Have a wonderful week!

  3. I don’t mind quiet weeks – that’s when I can get more reading in. I haven’t watched Bridgerton, but my friends in my book club are fanatics. Next on my list is Wheel of Time.

  4. I’m looking forward to your review of Flatshare. The title draws me in as does The Patron Saint of Second Chances. The cover of The No Show makes me want to read it! I hope the week to come gives you as much reading pleasure as last week.

  5. So mention so many great books Wendy! Dear Emmie Blue is a favourite of mine and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did. Have a great week!

  6. Quiet week’s are nice, aren’t they? I love them. <3 I hope you enjoyed The Flatshare. It was my favorite read last year. I can't wait to read your review!

Glad that you enjoyed The Flatshare. It might be my favourite of her books. I’m hoping to watch Bridgerton sometime this week.
    Have a great week’s reading😀

  8. You have the cutest header designs! Love them! I am also enjoying our spring weather! Though I’m limiting the books I’m adding onto my TBR, Summer on the Island and Girls of Flight City are there now! And how can one not want to read The Patron Sait of Second Chances and Dear Emmie Blue? Thank you for sharing!

  9. Glad you had a good reading week and hope next week’s turn out enjoyable too. I have a couple of reads I’m hoping to get to during the week–a short story collection by dostoevsky and a story set in the pre-independence andaman islands in india.

  10. The next few days here are going to be warm and nice and I plan to spend a lot of time outside! I agree with you about liking the side characters better in S2 of Bridgerton than the main couple… which isn’t good in my opinion lol
