What I’m up to:
I had a quiet week and was able to get some reading done. Our newest addition, Balto is settling in nicely and is getting along well with our other dogs. He went to the vet, who said he’s about a year old and is in good health. But he is underweight. He’s in the right house to gain some weight! We make homemade dog food, and they get lots of exercise, so I’m sure his underweight status will not last long at all.
Last week I read:
I had a good week of reading this week. They were all very good, but my favorite was The Sweetheart Deal, it has everything you want in a romance!
Next week I hope to get to:

Omg Balto is a puppy puppy!
I haven’t read anything that you read this week. I hope you have a good one!
I’m rereading parts of Girl Gone Viral by Alisha Rai because I’m supposed to do real work and not book work. (You are organization goals btw.)
Sounds like Balto is going to be happy! I love quiet weeks! I wish I had more. Even though we’re not going up to my daughter’s this week, we’ve got two things we have to attend. Meeting my husband’s friends/workmates for lunch on Friday at a place two hours from our house, and then going to a charity dinner for Alpacas, an event also connected to my husband’s work. Both sound fun, but sometimes I just want to stay home, lol.
I know how you feel.
I’ve been wanting to read Elle Cosimano’s books! I haven’t read any one your list, but I’ll check them out!
Genesis @ Whispering Chapters
Thank you! I’ve only read one Elle Cosimano book and just loved it.
I’m so glad Balto is settling in so well. I’m sure he’ll be where he should weight-wise in no time. I can not wait to read the new Finlay Donovan also. Have a great week!
Thank you Tessa! I hope we both enjoy the Finlay Donavan!
I’m so happy to see that Balto is settling in well. I was offered a widget for Black Cake and wasn’t sure, so I am looking forward to seeing what you think. Have a great week, Wendy.
Thank you Carla. I”m hoping to read it this week or next. I’ll let you know!
“He’s in the right house to gain some weight! ” 🙂
Glad he’s settling in nicely!
Finlay Donovan looks fun!
Thank you Greg, he’s such a sweet addition.
The books you chose to read next week seem like good ones! I like the cover designs.
Thank you!
I have not read any of those books. I read a pretty wide range of genres.
We also make homemade food for our dog, Lulu. Well in the morning she gets either chicken or beef Honest Kitchen “oatmeal” and at night the homemade food. I rotate the protein – chicken thighs, ground chicken or turkey, add brown rice, frozen 4 veg mix and some frozen green veg like green beans, spinach, broccoli or kale, then the vitamin powder. She loves it. I’m so glad to hear Balto is doing well.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Thank you Anne. It’s so much healthier for the dogs to eat homemade food! So glad you’re doing that too.
I have Up to No Gouda on my TBR, and an ARC of it from NetGalley. I really should get to reading it.
I hope you like it as much as I did. It was cute, but made me crave Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
I have not read any of these books but it looks like a great selection! Have a great reading week 🙂
Thank you Cindy, hope you have a great week!
Hope you have a great week 💕
Thank you Jenny, you too!
