Today’s Top 10: Wintery book covers
Today’s Top Ten topic is a freebie, so I went with Top Ten Wintery book covers. These are all books that I have read, and to make it a bit more challenging I did NOT include any Christmas books.
- A Wish For Winter by Viola Shipman
2. The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn
3. The Backup Plan by Jill Shalvis
4. The Winter Orphans by Kristin Beck.
5. Meet Me in London by Georgia Toffolo
6. The Family You Make by Jill Shalvis.
7. Dark Whisper by Christine Feehan
8. The Whittiers by Danielle Steel.
9. Winter Fires at Mill Grange by Jenny Kane
10. Eight Perfect Hours by Lia Louis
Do you enjoy books in a winter setting? Have you read any of these books?
I love winter settings! Finding winter covers without Christmas would be challenging, though.
The start of a new mystery series that has a great winter cover.
Great minds think alike! You chose such great covers. All the Jill Shalvis covers are so gorgeously wintery and I love that Viola Shipman cover. I especially love the cover for Diamond Eye.
Love your picks, Wendy! I’m not usually a fan of illustrated covers but even so, I really like the cover of Meet Me in London.
It’s my favorite. Thank you, Tanya
Just finished IN the Bleak Midwinter, the start of a new mystery series that has a great winter cover.
That sounds great! Thank you, Michael
Love your topic this week!
Thank you, Sarita
I would think that eliminating Christmas covers would make your challenge difficult, but it seems that there are plenty of wintery covers and they are beautiful!
Thank you
Nice top and list. It made me colder just looking that the covers, but there was something cozy about them.
I think winter is fun to look at, but not so much fun to be in.
I love your topic choice! We’re in the midst of an ice storm down here in Texas, so I’m feeling this post. 😃 I’ve only read and enjoyed Eight Perfect Hours, but several are on my tbr. The Diamond Eye sounds so good! Happy reading this week!
I’ve been reading about your ice storms! I think ice storms are so much worse than snow storms.
Finding a wintery cover without it being a Christmas book can be challenging. Amazing picks!
Thank you, Yesha! It was challenging!
Meet me in london & Eight perfect hours are cute covers. I haven’t read any of these books but they’re not the types of books I read. Sadly, I haven’t read any winter setting books lately.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a lovely day
Thank you, Lissa!
Great selection of covers, Wendy 🙂 The Winter Orphans does look very good.
Thank you, Mallika!
These are great wintry covers! I haven’t read any but #9 and #3 caught my eye!
Oh good! Thank you!
Oooh, I love a good wintry book cover! It’s interesting how they can feel either cozy or menacing, depending on the genre. THE DIAMOND EYE is on my list today, too, as it’s a book I’m hoping to read this year.
Happy TTT!

I hope you get a chance to read The Diamond Eye. It’s a good one.
I love the covers, but it’s been so bitter cold just looking at them made me shiver…lol
When I clicked this, at first I thought it would be easy because all the 10 million Christmas books that exist, but I applaud your restraint in not including them on your list. xD I confess that while I hate snow when it happens in my area, it sure is pretty! Especially on book covers! There’s something really striking about these covers. The Diamond Eye is my favorite!
I agree, Sammie. Snow is much better in theory than in practice!
It is quite cold here today so this fits my mood! haha. Great topic choice!
What a fitting topic! I love your selection.
I do love reading books with wintry settings, though right now it’s so cold outside I only want warm beach books to read! ;D Great covers and choice for this week’s TTT.
Loved The Family You Make and I’ve started The Bacup Plan. Love the cover for The Whittiers, Winter Fires, and Dark Whispers. Great freebie subject!
I love books that have a winter setting, it’s pretty much all I’ve been reading lately haha. It’s great that you didn’t include any Christmas themed books to make this more challenging! Thanks for the recommendations Wendy!
I would think that eliminating Christmas covers would make your challenge difficult, but it seems that there are plenty of wintery covers and they are beautiful!
These all have such lovely winter covers.

I really enjoy winter themed books. The Winter Orphans is in my TBR.
These are great wintry choices. We got a tiny bit of snow this morning, so they all fit that well. 🙂
Oh nice. A tiny bit of snow is nice sometimes.
GREAT covers – and so many ways to represent cold wintery settings. I’ve only read Diamond Eye and have Winter Orphans on my list. Thanks for the visit – have a great week.

Lovely choices Wendy!🤗📚💜
Thank you, Susan.
We love the cover for Meet Me in London!
It’s so pretty!!
I love all of these covers. What a lovely collection. I enjoyed Meet me in London but that is the only one that I have read.
That one was so good!
I love a good wintry cover, and these are excellent choices. I bet it did make it more challenging that you didn’t include a Christmas cover.
Thank you, Teri!
Good Job, Wendy. I am a cover lover, so this is a hit for me. I have read 5 of these and have one on my TBR. I really must try The Whittiers. I haven’t read a Daneille Steel book in so long. Great choices for top ten this week.
Thank you, Carla! I wasn’t a big fan of The Whittiers, but the cover is pretty.
Those are lovely winter covers 😍
Thank you Tessa!
These are all beautiful covers! 😍 I haven’t read any of them yet but The Diamond Eye is on my TBR. I love Kate Quinn so much!
Kate Quinn is so talented!
I love a good wintery read now and again, although I’m not a fan of actual winter in real life. I haven’t read any of the ones from your list but they definitely give wintery vibes fro the covers!
Thank you, Amanda!
Those are good choices, I’ve read and enjoyed the Diamond Eye.
It’s such a good book!
This post makes me feel cozy, lovely choices!
Thank you, Rae! It’s a fun topic.
