Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.

Today’s Top 10: Top Ten Series I’d Like to Start/Catch up on/Finish

Series I want to start:

1. The Bridgerton Series by Julia Quinn. I love the Netflix series but I want to read the books too. There are 8 books in the series. (I started this last weekend and I’m enjoying it so far!)

2. The Happily Inc. Series by Susan Mallery. I’m surprised I’ve never read any books in this series because I do enjoy Susan Mallery’s writing. There are 6 books in this series.

3. The Wedding Date Series by Jasmine Guillory. I’ve enjoyed Jasmine’s Guillory’s other books, but haven’t read any books in this series yet. There are 6 books in this series.

Series I have started but haven’t finished yet:

4. The Bellinger Sisters series by Tessa Bailey. I’ve only read the second book in this series, and I loved it. I still need to read It Happened One Summer. There are currently only two books in this series.

5. The Brown Sisters Series by Talia Hibbert. I’ve only read this first book in the series, and I loved it. There are currently 3 books in this series.

6. The Nosey Parker Mysteries Series by Fiona Leitch. I’ve only read this first book in this series and loved it. There are 5 books in this series.

7. Love, Lists & Fancy Ships Series series by Sarah Grunder Ruiz. I’ve only read the second book in this series. There are currently only 2 books in this series.

8. The Addicted Series by Krista and Becca Ritchie. I’ve only read the first two books in this series and loved them. There are 5 books in this series.

9. The Friend Zone Series by Abby Jimenez. I’ve only read the third book in this series, Life is Too Short and I want to read the first two books. There are 3 books in this series.

10. Anne of Green Gables Series by L. M. Montgomery. I’ve only read the first book in this series and I would like to read the rest of the series soon. there are 9 books in this series.

  1. I’ve only read the first three Anne of Green Gables books. I originally read them aloud to my sister at bedtime when she was a preteen, and then a few years ago I did a re-read-along of the first book with the Pages Unbound girls. Next year I’d like to continue on and re-read the next two. 🙂

  2. I have read the Bridgertons way too many times to count… 🙂 And Anne is the only other series I have read (though I have to play catch up in that series – need to check where I stopped)..
As for the rest, I have had a couple that caught my eye but the others are new to me..

  3. Culinary mysteries are fun. I want to read more of those. Anne of Green Gables is the best one in the series, but I enjoyed the rest of them too.

  4. I’m a serial ‘first book of series’ culprit. In fact, there are three books up there I’ve started and haven’t kept going with the series. The Anne of Green Gables is one series I’ve finished. 🙂

Hope you love the ones you haven’t gotten to yet.

  5. Great list! I have the Anne of Green Gables series on my TBR list as well. I’ll need to peel myself away from the hundreds of cozies I want to read, though. Such a dilemma! 🙂

  6. I also need to finish the Abby Jimenez series. The first one was good but you maybe slightly spoiled if you’ve read them out of order. I’m not sure how they all connect.

  7. We have so many in common! I’ve read the first two books in the Bridgerton series, and I recently added the rest of the books to my shelves. Now I just need to get to them. 😉 I’ve also only read the first book in The Brown Sisters series and Anne of Green Gables, and the second book in Love, Lists, and Fancy Ships. Addicted to You is on my tbr.

  8. Great list Wendy! I have also only read the first Anne book, but have a boxset of the first 4 that I bought for my daughter when she was young. There are a few on this list that I am also interested in. I did not participate on Tuesday because I was out and about, but think I will still do this one today.

  9. Catching up on a series and completing it is a worthwhile project, and one I need to undertake. But first, I’m playing catch up on my 2021-2022 ARC’s.

    • I’m loving the Briderton series so far, I like the books as I feel I get to know the characters a bit better than the Netflix show.

  10. ANNE OF GREEN GABLES is one of my favorite books of all time, so I’ve read it a bunch of times. I’d never read the other books, though, until last year when I started listening to them. I only got through the third one. For me, they’re just nowhere near as good as the first one. I stopped reading the sequels and will just re-read the first book when I need an Anne fix!

I love a good cozy, so I’m definitely going to check out the Leitch series. I hadn’t heard of it before, so thanks for the heads-up.

    Happy TTT!

  11. These look fun. Green Gables always seems like one of those classic series like the Little House Books, or Nancy Drew/ Hardy Boys, but I’ve never read ’em.

    • I have no idea if there will be any more, but doubt it. She’s written a book for each of the sisters, so I think it’s over.

  12. Jenny+McClinton

What a lovely list 💕 I still want to finish the Seven Sisters series by Lucinda Riley. My Mum has them all just need to find the time to read them 😊

    • I’ve heard Lucinda Riley is a wonderful author, I hope you enjoy the series! It’s cool that you’re borrowing the books from your Mum.

  13. I tried to read beyond Anne of Green Gables in my younger years, but found the later books weren’t as enjoyable as the original.

  14. The Brown Sisters books are fantastic. I also really like The Wedding Date series (especially that first one and The Proposal). That’s a series I should have included on my list, though I’m nearly caught up. The Tessa Bailey series is one I keep hearing good things about.

  15. Joanna @ TheGeekishBrunette

I need to continue on with the Bridgerton series. It’s just very long, haha.

  16. Janette

I really like the Nosy Parker series and I’m sure you will love them too. I’ve only read a couple of the Bridgerton books but I actually think they work better on Netflix. Hope you enjoy these when you get to them

  17. I’ve actually read three of these series and have enjoyed them all and hope that you do too Wendy! Good luck in your quest!

  18. Great list Wendy. The Brown sisters books is a series I would want to look up at some point having heard good things about them. I’ve read most of the Anne books, and I found the series was very good fun till book 4, then lost a bit of its charm, then picked up again once Anne’s kids come into the picture.

  19. It would take more than one blog post to list all the series I need to catch up on, lol. My book club is crazy about Bridgerton, but I haven’t read or watched it.
