Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.

Today’s Top 10: Covers with Animals On Them

Today’s Top Ten Topic is Titles with Animals In Them and/or Covers with Animals On Them. I love books with pets as characters so this topic is perfect for me.

  1. Bayou Beloved by Lexi Blake. I love this big white dog on the cover 😍.

2. Six Sweets Under by Sarah Fox. Cozy mysteries are perfect for covers with animals on them.

3. Alaskan Mountain Search by Sarah Varland. I especially love this cover as the dog looks like my dog Balto.

4. The Sweetheart List by Jill Shalvis. Love this dog too.

5. A Little Ray of Sunshine by Kristen Higgins. She almost always has a dog on her book covers.

6. Crazy Stupid Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams

7. The Christmas Spirit by Debbie Macomber. Debbie Macomber often has a pet on her covers, especially on her Christmas books.

8. Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt has an octopus on the cover.

9. Off the Map by Trish Doller. I love the sheep on the hills.

10. Hello Stranger by Katherine Center. There is a cute little white dog.

Do you enjoy book covers with animals on them?

  1. For some reason I can’t comment on your Sunday Post. I wanted to say that I’m sorry you’re dealing with health issues. I hope the doctors figure out what’s going on and that you feel better soon. Sorry this is13 days too late!

Also, I love the covers for Remarkably Bright Creatures and Off the Map! 😀

  2. I’m usually a fan of books with animals in them (as long as they are not in danger!) so animals on the cover usually pull me in. Great choices and what a fun selection of animals.

  3. I love covers with animals on them. Shalvis often has them on her covers. Didn’t even register that there were sheep on the cover of Off the Map.

I hope you’re doing okay, Wendy! I haven’t seen any posts from you for a bit and I know you had some health issues last week. I also know you were supposed to be headed off for vacation so maybe that’s it? At any rate I hope you’re doing okay!

  4. There are some adorably cute covers there – and I agree with you on the dog on the cover of Bayou Beloved, I want to reach through the screen and pet it!
