Today’s Top 10: Completed Series I Wish Had More Books

Today’s topic is Completed Series I Wish Had More Books. I took off the Completed, and just did Series I Wish Had More book as I never seem to know if a series is over or not, or sometimes an author will just add a book to a series not wanting it to be over.

1. Virgin River Series by Robyn Carr. She has 21 books so far… but I can always read more!

2. The Well Met Series by Jen DeLuca. I know one more book is coming out later this year, but I could easily read many more books in this series.

3. The Grilled Cheese Mystery Series by Linda Reilly. This series is just beginning with only two books published so far, but I’m excited for this to be a long series.

4. The Meant To Be series has only two books so far, but I hope it continues. Each book is by a different author and is a Disney movie retelling.

5. The Practical Magic Series by Alice Hoffman just had a new installment added almost 25 years after the first book. I’m ready for more installments any time!

6. The Cedar Cove Series by Debbie Macomber, It’s just such a sweet little town with wonderful characters.

7. The Kiss Quotient series by Helen Hoang. I love this series and it’s mental health representation. It has three books in the series, and I’m hoping for more.

8. The Finlay Donovan series by Elle Cosimano is a hilarious mystery series that I love. I know the third book in the series will be out soon, but I will definitely want more than 3 books.

9. The Raj’s series by Sonali Dev has four books in the series, but more would be nice!

10. It Ends With Us series by Colleen Hoover. Right now there is only one book in the series with a second book coming out soon.

  1. I haven’t read any of these but I see so many that are on my TBR! I really want to read the Grilled Cheese cozy series, the Finley Donovan series and the Alice Hoffman books. Oh and the Virgin River series. Great list!

  2. Alice Hoffman said the fourth book was definitely the last one. Although I didn’t care for it as much as I did the two prequels, I felt she did tie up everyone’s storylines well. I would however love movies of the prequels, or at least The Rules of Magic. 😍

  3. I binge-read the first half of the VR series back in the day, but I haven’t continued with it. I enjoyed the setting and the characters. I think I just got burned out. That tends to happen to me with long-running series.

The Reilly series looks fun. I’m definitely going to give that one a go. Even if I hate the books, at least the titles make me laugh!

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

  4. Love The Virgin River series, too! The books more than the TV show, although I love the casting and setting of the show.

  5. I’d take as many books in DeLuca’s Well Met series as she’ll write! They’re such fun books. I love them. 😀

  6. Nice list, Wendy! I’m with you in wanting several series to continue on. Sometimes authors listen and give us more. 😉 But sometimes it’s confusing like when a series is labeled a trilogy but there are more than 3.

    • There are so many series out there. I found that while reading other blog posts on this topic there were so many series I haven’t read or even heard of.

  7. Yeah, I’ve noticed that about series, too. It’s hard to tell when they’ll end in some cases, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you’ll get more instalments in all of these series.

    Thanks for stopping by earlier!

    • I’m really looking forward to the second book. But, you’re right, it seemed like it worked great as a stand alone.

  8. I haven’t read any of these, but I do have Finlay Donovan on my TBR – I didn’t realize it’s part of a series; is it the first? I’ll have to look that up. Thanks again for the visit. Even though our readings tastes are clearly very different, you’re a great blogging buddy!

  9. I agree with If The Shoe Fits! I’ve read the first 6 in the Cedar Cove series and I really need to get back to it as I enjoyed it. Great choices Wendy.

What a great list, I still need to complete the seven sisters series by Lucinda Riley 😊
