Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.

Today’s Top 10: Books I Enjoyed, but Have Never Mentioned On My Blog. Auto-Buy Authors.

Today’s Top Ten topic is Books I Enjoyed, but Have Never Mentioned On My Blog, but since I’ve mentioned almost every book that I’ve enjoyed, I decided to do Top 10 Auto-Buy Authors.

10. Debbie Macomber. She’s been writing for a long time, and although I haven’t read all her books, I’ve read many of them.

Do you have auto-buy authors? If so, who are they? Comment below!

  1. I’ve never read Katherine Center, but I have been wanting to read The Bodyguard. Sophie Kinsella used to be an auto-buy for me, but I have had some misses with her a few years ago, so she’s not on the top of my list. Christina Lauren is an author(s) that I I also have some that don’t work for me. However I am always up to check out her new books because they kind of go back and forth between what I do and don’t like. I’d say my auto-buys are Meghan Quinn, Sara Ney, Amy Daws, Helena Hunting, and Penny Reid!

  2. I wouldn’t say I have auto-BUY authors, but I do have auto-READ authors. Picoult used to be one of them, although I haven’t read many of her newest ones. Even though I’m not much of a romance reader, I do enjoy Carr’s books. They’re just so warm and inviting. Incidentally, I’ve had a number of email exchanges with Carr and that’s exactly how I would describe her as a person. She’s lovely in so many ways.

    Happy TTT (on a Monday)!

    • That’s so nice to know about Robyn Carr. I love her books so much, and I love that she’s as warm as her books.

  3. So many great authors here! I’m impressed you’ve read all of Katherine Center. I’ve read all her recent books since How to Walk Away, but I need to go back and read her earlier books. I think I own them all, just need to find the time to read them. 🙂 Love Sophie Kinsella, Christina Lauren, Helen Hoang. TJR is a hit or miss for me. Some I like more than others. Great post!

  4. I have wanted to read Daisy Jones and the Six for a while, but my library doesn’t have the ebook/audiobook yet (I have requested it), and Hoopla doesn’t have it. It’s been on my Kindle wishlist forever, but it hasn’t been on sale yet. I refuse to pay more than $5 for an ebook. 😁

  5. Taylor Jenkins Reid is one I would consider an auto-buy author. She is such an amazing storyteller. Others would be Colleen Hoover, Mia Sheridan, Emma Scott, and Sarina Bowen. It’s great to find those unicorn authors! 🙂

  6. I’ve read a few here and there by several of these authors so I get why they made your list. I’ve got a few autobuy authors like Carolyn Brown, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, Danielle Garrett, and so many more. 🙂

  7. Kim

Fabulous list, Wendy. Debbie Macomber is my mum’s favourite. Thankfully she’s one of those prolific authors so Mum doesn’t have to wait long to get a new book. 😘

  8. What a great list! I’ve read, and would keep reading, more than half of these authors. I also did a twist with authors instead of titles because I was stumped by this prompt. Enjoy!

  9. I did not participate this week, as I review all the books I read, so it was a tough one for me as well, Wendy. I would add Nicholas Sparks, Harlan Coben, David Baldaccii, Brenda Novak, as well as all but one on your list.

  10. What a great list filled with amazing authors. I’ll have to check out some of these titles. I’ve heard wonderful things about them, especially Malibu Rising and The Heart Principle. Thank you for sharing!

  11. I am not an auto-buy person. I have read quite a few of Debbie Macomber and Jodi Piccoult’s books, although it’s been years since I have read either one.

  12. All great authors I want to read. I have read 2 Katherine Center books but not anything by rest of the authors.

  13. I’ve read a couple of Kinsella’s books. They were good. I recently read my first Debbie Macomber book. I might make her books a Christmas time must.
