Hi everyone! I was recently (Ok, it wasn’t that recent..sorry Jodie!) lucky enough to be nominated for the Ideal Inspiration Blogger Award by That Happy Reader I would like to say a big thank you to Jodi for nominating me! Be sure to check out her blog for more bookish content, too! You can view their post here.
The Rules:
1. Thank the person who has nominated you and provide a link back to their blog
2. Answer their questions
3. Nominate other bloggers and ask them 5 new questions
4. Notify the nominees through their blog by visiting and commenting on their blog
5. List the rules and display the “Ideal Inspiration Blogger Award” logo
6. Provide the link to the Award creator of the Ideal Inspiration Blogger award as Rising Star.
My Questions!
1. What is your favorite book setting and why?
a. Small town setting. I love that everyone knows everyone, and the gossip and the way they care about each other.
2. If you had to choose only one book to read for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
a. This is very hard for me. I thought of choosing a long series, like LOTR, But that’s not what I really want to read. So, I choose Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
3. What book are you most looking forward to reading in 2022?
a. Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid/. I’ve enjoyed her books so far, and she always writes such thought-provoking books.
4. Where is your preferred place and time to read?
a. I usually read in my recliner in the living room, or in bed before I go to sleep. But, I prefer to read in a campground in the forest.
5. How do you choose your next book to read?
a. My next book is usually chosen for me as I read mostly ARCs these days and I go by the next date published. But, when it’s up to me, I choose a book that I’m in the mood to read.
Questions for my nominees:
- What is your favorite genre of book to read and why?
- What is your favorite kind of blog post to read?
- What is your favorite format to read a book? (Hardcover, Paperback, e-book, audiobook)
- Where is your favorite book trope?
- Name a book you can read over and over again.
My Nominees:
Anyone who reads this blog and wants to participate. I’m just not good at nominating specific people or blogs as I feel like I would leave someone out, or put someone on the spot.
I enjoyed your answers, Wendy. I was also nominated, but haven’t done it yet. Maybe tonight while I watch the hockey game.
Ha! I would have said Pride and Prejudice too! The irony is that when I studied it for O level I hated it, but now that I am middle-aged I find the characters fascinating!

Enjoyed reading your answers! I just got approved for Carrie Soto, so I’m excited to get to it, as well. Hopefully we both enjoy it!
I just can’t wait for Carrie Soto, I hope we both enjoy it!
Looks interesting. I like these sorts of things and seeing what other people’s answers are. It’s just a shame that my blog doesn’t let me know when I have been tagged and people don’t know when I tag them!

It’s a fun tag.
Thank you so much for participating Wendy! Carrie Soto is certainly one of my most anticipated books this year too! I hope you get lots of camping time to read some great books!
Thank you, Jodie! This was fun!
That’s a nice tag, and I like the questions you’ve com up with as well. Like you I enjoy reading outdoors, but where I am the weather is not always conducive so this happens either early mornings (in summer) or afternoons (winter).
Thank you, Mallika. I do enjoy reading outdoors, but only when the weather is nice!
Congratulations, Wendy! 😀 That was fun to read about you. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Jenni!
Congratulations, Wendy!
Thank you, Jolene.
I choose my next read by publication date too. I was never a very good mood reader because I could never decide so having my reading scheduled works fine for me.
LOL, yes! That’s me too. It’s so nice to have a schedule.
I’m curious about the TJR book as well. I haven’t read any of her other books, but this one has me interested due to the sports connection.
I hope it’s a good one.
Hi there Wendy! So glad you got tagged!! You are a wonderful blogger and a real inspiration to me! I always love visiting your blog and reading your posts.
My favorite reading spot also has to be in bed before I go to sleep. That is exactly what I plan on doing now!
Lots of Love,

I agree, Greg! Thanks!
Lovely to hear your answers 💕 well done 😊
Thank you, Jenny!
This was fun to read! It’s always nice to get to know fellow bloggers a little better.
I agree, I enjoy reading tags from other bloggers and getting to know them a bit more.
P&P is such a good choice for a book to re-read. I think it’s either that or Persuasion for me.
Thank you, Nick!
Congratulations Wendy! That’s great 🙂
Thank you, Cindy
Love this tag as you’ve definitely inspired me X
Thank you, Janette!
