What I’ve been up to?
I’ve had a rough week. Wednesday evening I suddenly felt very sick to my stomach and went to the emergency room. After many tests, they determined that they weren’t really sure what was causing my distress, but, they were sure it wasn’t anything horrible like a bad gall bladder or ulcer. So, that was good. I’m having more tests done and will be seeing a GI specialist soon. I got some drugs to make me feel better, and now I’m finally feeling almost human again.
Happy Easter to all who celebrate! We’re going camping tomorrow hopefully. As long as I’m still feeling ok to go.
Last week I read:
The upside of not feeling well is having time to read!
Next week I hope to get to:
I hope to get some of these books to read this week.
What I’m Watching:
We binged watched Welcome To Wrexham on Hulu. It tells the story of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buying a struggling Welsh football club. We enjoyed it so much that we purchased tickets to see Wrexham play Manchester United when they come to San Diego in July.

Have you read any of these books? What are you hoping to read this next week? What have you been up to last week? Comment below!
Hoping you’re feeling better and will be getting good test results. I haven’t read any of those books, but am looking forward to Sally Hepworth’s latest.
Oh, no, Wendy, that’s awful! Hope they figure out what it is and that you feel better soon.
I hope you feel better soon, hope you enjoyed your easter weekend 😊
I’m so sorry you’ve been feeling bad. I hope you’re feeling better and that the GI doctor can get you some answers. I hope this week has been much better!
I hope you are still feeling better and are camping right now. 🏕 I think there is a wicked stomach bug going around because two of my son’s friends had it and they cancelled game night twice and they never to that. 😯 I slso had serious nausea the first time I had Covid. That’s why I didn’t think I had it at first. 😷
I hope everything is going okay, Wendy! My thoughts are with you 💕
Oh my gosh, I hope you’re feeling better and the GI doctor can figure it out. Hopefully you were able to go camping and relax.
I’m looking forward to your reviews, I enjoyed The Soulmate. Take care this week!
Oh no, hope you’re feeling better and were able enjoy your trip
I’m so sorry to hear that you haven’t been feeling well. I hope you’re doing okay now Wendy!
We hope you feel better soon!
Oh, I hope you feel well enough that you can go on your trip, Wendy! Have they checked that you don’t have a kidney infection? I had one once and it had me vomiting and feeling like knives were being stabbed all over my lower back and abdomen. I hope you get it all sorted.
The Soulmate is one that I couldn’t put down. Hope you enjoyed it too. I loved The Seaside Library as well, but I do think the cover is deceptive. It looks like a light beach read and it was anything but.
Happy Easter, Wendy! I’m sorry you had to go to the ER. Hopefully you were able to go camping!
I’m sorry you have been in pain. That’s horrible! I wish they would have found what caused it.
I’m so sorry to hear that you were suffering so much this past week. That breaks my heart! I hope you get some answers and find relief soon. As someone with a digestive disease, any time someone mentions struggling with stomach pain, my heart absolutely shatters. I wouldn’t wish that discomfort on anyone. Sending love your way! (And very much hoping you enjoy Isn’t it Bromantic? because it’s one of my faves)!
Oh no, so sorry to hear you’ve been sick, Wendy. At least they didn’t find any serious underlying issues. I hope you’re able to enjoy your trip.
Hope you’re feeling much better, Wendy.
Hope you’re doing better by now! You’re about a week ahead of me in reading Soulmate and Camp Zero…..you can let me know what to expect! 🙂 Have a terrific week.

A bookshop in Venice is a good change from the ones in Paris. Hope it’s a good read for you.
Hope you had a wonderful Easter! Sorry tohear about the stomach distress though! Hopefully they find the problem soon and it’s nothing serious!
Feel better soon!
I hope you feel better soon, Wendy and there is nothing to worry about in the next tests. Take care and Happy Ester x
Wednesday was not a good night for ER visits! My stepdad had to go too. I am glad they got you some meds to help for now. And I hope they get it figured out soon for you. But yeah, the bonus of reading time is nice. Great books, haven’t read any yet, but a few are on my TBR. Hope this is a better week for you!
I’m glad they determined it was anything super serious and that you’re feeling better! I hope the GI doctor can help straighten things out for you quickly. Enjoy this week’s reading!
Happy Easter Wendy. I’m glad to hear you are feeling g better. I hope they can figure out what is going on with you and get you fixed right up! Have a wonderful week!🤗📚🌸💜
Oh no Wendy. I’m so sorry to hear this! I hope you’re able to get away and that it isn’t anything nefarious. Happy Easter!
