What I’ve been up to?

This week has been a lot of catching up. I read quite a bit while I was away, but I didn’t write many reviews or blog posts, so I’ve been catching up this week.

I made a few more reservations for our summer trip. We plan to take our little travel trailer up to Montana in the summer to see our son who moved up there last fall. We plan to take 7 weeks to travel up to Montana and back and stop at some of the National Parks on the way up and back. I have reservations at Yellowstone National Park, Grand Tetons National Park, Glacier National Park, Waterton Lakes National Park (Canada), and Cedar Breaks National Monument. Plus some state parks and national forests.

  1. Your summer trip sounds amazing! I’m hoping to get some traveling in in the next few months but haven’t made plans just yet. I need to get working if it’s going to happen. You got some great reading done last week and I hope this week is going well!

  2. Your summer trip sounds like a dream! It actually is a dream of ours. Lol. We would love a travel trailer and the ability to take Wyatt on travels through the parks. One day maybe!

All of your books look good too. 🙂

  3. What a great summer trip! We’ve been to many of those parks, but not Glacier – we’re eager to visit that one. Soulmate is high on my TBR too – I have the ARC, I better get busy reading!
    Thanks for stopping by

  4. I understand the whole reading a lot, but not getting to blogs or reviews. Join the crowd, Wendy. Your summer trip sounds wonderful, I have stayed or visited many of those parks. Have a wonderful week.

  5. I’ll be looking forward to your vacation photos! 🏕 It’s wonderful that you will be visiting your son. 🤗

Lone Woman sounded great so I requested it (or maybe it was a wish for?) even if I don’t get approved, Hoopla has another book of his, The Ballad of Black Tom, so I’ll be reading a book of his one way or another. 📗✨

    Have a wonderful week. ☀

  6. Love your trip plans. I’ve enjoyed Yellowstone and Tetons a couple of times, but still need to fit in Glacier at some point. I’ll bet your son is excited to have you come.
Nice reading stack you went through this past week. I enjoyed the Lyssa K. Adams and Sherry Thomas’ series.

    Have a good week, Wendy!

  7. Sounds like a fantastic trip, Wendy – seven weeks! I’m thinking about all the reading I could get done in that time, lol. I also started Shadow and Bone, but have only watched the first episode so far.

  8. I hope you have a great summer trip. I also plan to start watching Shadow and Bone this weekend. Happy reading!

  9. Good luck in writing those reviews! Your trip sounds amazing. I’ve visited Glacier and been to Montana several times, but the other ones I haven’t visited. I would love to get to more National Parks, but there’s so much on our plate right now. I’m reading *listening to* The Soulmate and it’s good so far!

    • Glacier is such a wonderful place. I’ve been there a couple of times before, but it’s been a while. It should be mostly closed while were there anyway as we’re going early in the season.

  10. Molly's Book Nook

It must be so nice to take 7 weeks to enjoy all the national parks! I’m very jealous of that trip so you must share as much as possible when you return lol

  11. Wow, that summer trip sounds amazing! I can’t wait to see how it goes. It looks like some great reading too. I need to pick up the Bromance Book Club books! I think I have two left to read.

  12. Your summer trip sounds amazing! I got to visit one small part of Montana last summer and totally loved it. 😀

  13. Your trip sounds fabulous! I still need to get out there and see those Western parks.

Maybe I should try Shadow and Bone. ,

  14. Your national parks trip sounds amazing! We’re going on a road trip next week, but we won’t be staying inside any park. We’re hoping to hit all five Utah parks though.

  15. I ordered the Ana Maria book for my Book of the Month Club pick for April. I love your trip plan! I was thinking of driving to places like that this summer, but with my Scotland trip I’m postponing that till next year. I also want to see a lot of other landmarks like Mount Rushmore, etc. Have a great week!

  16. beautyinthebinding

Sounds like you have a great summer trip! I haven’t read any of those books, but I love the cover for Hotel of Secrets. Have a great week!

  17. How fun to be planning your summer travel! I love the planning process of a trip. I know it will be great to see your son again and spend some time with him. Hopefully he’s enjoying his job in that remote area he’s in!

    • Planning is so much fun for me. He’s enjoying his job and seems to be enjoying living in such a small town too.

  18. Your trip sounds amazing Wendy! I bet you can’t wait to see your son! You read some awesome books this past week! Have a lovely week and happy reading!📚🌸💜
