What I’ve been up to:
I’ve had a cold and flu for most of the week, and finally, I’m feeling a bit better. It’s not COVID, as I tested for it. However, it has been a while since I’ve had a cold or flu and I think that’s because of all the masking and social distancing.
My niece and her boyfriend visited for a few days, and we had a wonderful time with them. We took them out to the Grand Canyon and had a nice visit.
We saw this guy!
Last week I read:
I only read 3 books this week, and they were all good!

Have you read any of these books? What are you hoping to read this next week? What have you been up to last week? Comment below!
Sorry you were sick, but I’m glad you were still able to enjoy a visit with family!
Great elk pic. Let It Snow looks like a nice read and so does The Getaway. Happy reading this week and feel better.
Thank you very much!
Sorry to hear about the cold, Wendy, but glad it’s not Covid. Hopefully you’re feeling better this week. I love the cover of Let It Snow. I’m looking forward to some holiday books!
I hope you feel better soon! I love the photo of the elk.
Thank you, Yvonne! I’m already feeling much better.
Hope you feel better soon!
That photo of the Bull Elk is fantastic!
Get well soon, Wendy!
I’m so sorry you’ve been sick! I’ve heard that all the masking and social distancing has changed flu season respiratory illness seasons. Apparently at least the hospital here isn’t see the peaks and valleys they usually do and instead its more of a constant with a slight increase in summer. Hopefully you’re feeling much better! I love the picture of the Elk. All three of your upcoming books look good. Have a great week!
I hope you are feeling MUCH better this week, Wendy. And thanks for sharing the photo of the elk. It looks like it was taken on my property! lol We’ve had one visiting lately. 😉
Sorry you have been sick! I hope you are completely better soon.
I’m glad you are feeling better! It really sucks when it keeps you down for so many days.
Glad you’re feeling better and happy it wasn’t Covid, Wendy! I’d love to get through three books/week. Sure would help my NetGalley shelf.
I enjoyed The Lost Ticket. Hope you are good this coming week.

Sorry! I was so excited over the elk I forgot to say that I am so sorry that you were sickly this week! Glad to hear you’re feeling better now!
How exciting to see an elk!!!!
Cool pic of the elk – we’ve been to the Grand Canyon and the West Grand Canyon when we lived in Vegas. It’s an amazing piece of Mother Nature, isn’t it? Have a great week of reading and hope you feel better so you can enjoy it!

I’m sorry you’ve been sick this week. I’m glad you’re feeling better. 😀 I’ve never been to the Grand Canyon even though it’s only 5 or 6 hours from where I live. When I was young, I always thought Lake Powell was part of the Grand Canyon. LOL.
Glad to hear you are feeling better. To a speedy full recovery!
Thanks for sharing this gorgeous picture of the elk.

Thank you, Emma! I am feeling much better thank you!
Wow- beautiful elk! Great pic. I hope you’re feeling better. I’ve noticed I get sick less too since masking lol. As much as I’m not fond of masking that is a nice side benefit! 🙂
What a beautiful photo of the Bull Elk – that’s so cool! I’ve been working at the sailing club still, which is exhausting but also very rewarding! Good to hear you’ve been enjoying what you’re reading and some good ones lined up for next week too! I’m reading a fantastic book, Floored by a collaboration of YA authors. It’s about seven people who end up in a lift together – amazing! Hope you feel better soon and that you have a beautiful week Wendy!

I hope you’re feeling better soon!
I’m loving the elk. Sadly, I’m in a bit of a reading slump at the moment.
There’s a cold going around here that’s not covid as well. My daughter had it a couple weeks ago. Luckily, we didn’t get it this time. I had her tested just to make sure. I know two other people who also have it right now. It’s been crazy with colds this year. My daughter has had 4. I had 2 and my husband had 2 from her. I’m not looking forward to school starting back up and germs again. I’m sure it will be worse with covid too. Ugh. Trying not to think of it. Hope you’re back to 100% now.
Feel better soon!
That bull elk is huge. Wow, you got a good shot of him.
I haven’t been to the Grand Canyon since I was a kid. I really need to go back as an adult I think! Hope to read the Beth Moran book some time as I’ve enjoyed her other books. I hope you get to feeling better and have a great week!
Thank you, Lisa. I’m already feeling much better
Hope you are feeling better Wendy. Take it easy and relax 🤗📚💕
