I’ve been wanting to read the Bridgerton Series for over a year now. So, I’ve downloaded the first two books and I can’t wait to read this entire series.
Synopsis for the Duke and I: Simon Basset, the irresistible Duke of Hastings, has hatched a plan to keep himself free from the town’s marriage-minded society mothers. He pretends to be engaged to the lovely Daphne Bridgerton. After all, it isn’t as if the brooding rogue has any real plans to marry – though there is something about the alluring Miss Bridgerton that sets Simon’s heart beating a bit faster.
And as for Daphne, surely the clever debutante will attract some very worthy suitors now that it seems a duke has declared her desirable. I read the previous book in this series, A Perfect Equation, and loved it.

I have enjoyed reading/listening to many Julia Quinn titles. I haven’t felt inclined to watch the show. Of course, I don’t watch much TV/shows at all.

The Viscount Who Loved Me is one of my favorite historical romances. I didn’t watch the show but I read the synopsis and there are a lot of differences. I hope you love it!

I read the first Bridgerton after the show came out. I haven’t read the second, but I didn’t love the second season. I’m excited for Colin’s season next though! Will see if I read the book before or after again. Enjoy!

So far, I’m enjoying them. Even though the author’s descriptions of the characters are very different, I still “see” the actors from the series when I read it.
