How Did I Do? 20 Books of Summer Challenge!

Posted September 2, 2022 by WendyW in bookblogger / 35 Comments

The 20 Books of Summer Challenge is hosted by 746 Books and runs between June 1st and September 1st. The aim is to read and review either 10, 15, or 20 books. I’ll be reading the full 20 books, and mostly ARCs. But, I’ve challenged myself to read 4 books that are not ARCs. The last 3 books are not ARCs, and are audiobooks as I do most of my personal reading via audiobooks.

Looks like I did it!! I read all 20 books I said I would read. The ARCs were easy to check off, but the Audiobooks took a bit longer.

First, pay no attention to the banner on the side ➡️.
My challenges bar won’t update until I post all the reviews. I’ll be doing that for the last four books in the next couple of weeks.

Did you participate in the 20 books of Summer? Have you read any of these books?

  1. Congratulations, Wendy. It is hard to read them without switching them out, although that is allowed. I also completed mine, but I listed 32 possibilities and was able to read 20 of them.

  2. Well done! I am so much a mood reader that it’s really hard to choose that many books ahead of time and then stick to the plan. A lot of these look really intriguing, though. I haven’t read any of them, but my husband enjoyed the audio of A Man Called Ove,, which my sister and BIL gave him for Christmas.

    • I think it’s much more of a challenge for me to not include ARCs so next year I might try to do the whole challenge without ARCs.

    • Thank you, Jenni! I added mostly ARCs, and I know I will get to them. Next year, I’m going to try and no ARC’s and that would be a real challenge for me.
