Happy Thanksgiving!

Posted November 25, 2021 by WendyW in bookblogger, Uncategorized / 20 Comments

I hope everyone, (not just my US friends) has a great Thanksgiving Day. I’m in an RV park in Las Vegas spending it with my sister and brother-in-law.

Since in the US, we sometimes call Thanksgiving, Turkey day. For my Thanksgiving Post, I will share pictures of my pet turkeys.

Our three Tom Turkeys, cleverly named, Brown Turkey, White Turkey, and Grey Turkey. They are very friendly and curious.
Our female turkey is named Mrs. Turkey. She’s super friendly and always wants to be close to us. She has hatched and raised one chicken.
Here are the tom turkey’s supervising my husband as he works on our trailer. I’m sure they are full of great advice for him!

Don’t worry, these turkeys will never become this:

They are all pets, and are heritage turkeys, not eating turkeys!

What are you doing for Thanksgiving? I hope you are having a good day, eating great food, and spending time with your family and friends.

  1. Happy belated Thanksgiving!

Your turkeys are adorable. My brother and sister-in-law have several pet chickens that they adore. Poultry make such interesting pets.

  2. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Wendy! The turkeys are so cute! We see a lot of wild ones and their cute babies at my daughter’s house.

  3. I love your turkeys! 🤗😍❤

I haven’t had turkey for Thanksgiving for about eleven years. I stopped eating red meat 34 years ago, but was still eating poultry and fish occasionally. Now I only eat fish occasionally. My favorite part of Thanksgiving is the side dishes, anyway. 😊

    Happy Thanksgiving! 🥧✨

  4. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well Wendy. I love that you have pet turkeys with highly original names. I hope you had a wonderful day! 😀
