Escape to Cornwall with this beautiful page-turning novel set in Penvennan Cove. The third book in the Cornish romance series by bestselling author Linn B. Halton!

Finding Happiness at Penvennan Cove by Linn B. Halton is the third book in her Penvennan Cove series.  This series should be read in order to understand these characters and follow their story.

Story Recap:

Kerra Shaw is back in this third book set in Penvennan Cove.  She’s found the love of her life and they are finally living together, but all is not well in the little village, and Kerra needs to help out where she can.  The community is in trouble, and as usual, it’s up to Kerra to solve all the issues.  Her boyfriend, Ross is also up to new adventures and Kerra isn’t quite on board with his new ideas.

My Thoughts:

I enjoyed this third installment of the Penvennan Cove series very much.  It’s all about the community and I feel like they are all friends.  Kerra just gets stronger and stronger in each new book, and I love how she works to solve the issues of some of the struggling businesses in Penvennan Cove.  But, does she work so hard at the businesses that she neglects her own life?

The sense of community is what really works in this series.  These townspeople have all become my friends as well, and I enjoy checking in with them.  They are all so close-knit, and yet, there are always issues and miscommunications that add to the drama of the story.  I really enjoyed this cozy romance series.

Recommendation:

I highly recommend Finding Happiness at Penvennan Cove to anyone who enjoys fiction.  I received a complimentary copy of this book.  The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

  1. Small town community always adds extra charm to stories. And series that makes you feel like meeting friends is the cherry on top. Amazing review!

  2. I love that the sense of community is strong in these, a great thing to have especially in current times. Sounds a lovely series.

  3. I haven’t read this book, or any book in this series, but the fact that they’re set in Cornwall totally makes me want to .:)

I’ve never heard of the series or the author before but the books do sound fun. I think I’ve probably read enough books set in Cornwall recently though so might leave it a while before I pick up the first one. Lovely review.
