My Review:

Out of Your Head by Rose McClelland is a fast-paced thriller that moved quickly through the drama. The many twists and turns made for an exciting well-paced book.

Zoe Walker is a single mother to Emma, her six-year-old daughter, and Liam is Emma’s father and Zoe’s on-again/off-again partner. Mia is Liam’s employee and secret girlfriend on the side. When a tragic accident happens, these four lives are irreversibly changed.

The book is told from several POVs and also different timelines, which moved the storytelling along to its rousing conclusion. I liked how the police consulted a psychiatrist to figure out the mental stability of the characters, I think this helps highlight the mental illness impact of the actions of some of the characters. I’m always interested in why people do crazy things, and in this book, we saw what they did and then had an explanation of why they did it.

I recommend this book to fans of phycological thrillers. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

  1. This sounds like a very intriquing story Wendy. The mental health storyline with the use of a psychologist is a bit different, which makes me more interested. Great review.
