Today’s Top 10: Books with Geographical Terms in the Title
Today’s topic is Books with Geographical Terms in the Title. I decided I would do one book for one term. I think I could have done all 10 with the term beach If I didn’t narrow the topic!
1. Virgin River by Robyn Carr.
2. The Mapmaker’s Daughter by Clare Marchant
3. Out of the Clear Blue Sky by Kristan Higgins.
4. Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez.
5. The Beach Trap by Ali Brady.
6. Summer on the Island by Brenda Novak.
7. The Belle of Belgrave Square by Mimi Matthews
8. Summer at the Cape by RaeAnne Thayne.
9. Celebration at Christmas Cove by Carrie Jansen.
10. Welcome to the School by the Sea by Jenny Colgan
Have you read any of these books? Can you list any books with Geographical Terms in the Title? Comment below!
Nice list. This caught my eye as I was thinking of adding a challenge for my goals to include 10 books at different locations on the title. (Beach, lake, mountain, wood, river etc. ). So this gives me some ideas. 🙂
Great list! I have several of these on my TBR – especially The Mapmaker’s Daughter but I see several I haven’t come across before.
Great job! Square was a good catch! It was definitely more challenging to stick to ten unique terms. 🙂
I love the look of all these books! I thought that I might struggle with coming up with 10, but apparently I read quite a lot of books with geographical titles!
Have a great week!

Fantastic list and use of words. I love all your choices.
What a fun post! I haven’t read any of these books, but some of them are on my radar. 🙂
Ooo, looking forward to The Belle of Belgrave Square.
Robyn Carr’s book always seem incredibly popular. Thanks for sharing and visiting my blog.
I’m still in love with the cover of The Belle of Belgrave Square. ❤❤❤
KAJDBWJSBDHWIISBS I LOVE THIS LIST SO MUCH YOUR ENTIRE COLLECTION IS SO UNIQUE!!!!!! I haven’t heard of any of the books you mentioned, but ALL THE COVERS LOOK FABULOUS??? especially the one for The Belle of Belgrave Square ITS STUNNINGNESS and I kind of wish to check out the book just for that?? I LOVE THIS POST SO MUCH
I haven’t heard of any of these, but well done because I had to twist the theme as I couldn’t find that many books with Geographical Terms in the title! Some of these do have fun titles though – Welcome To The School by the Sea sounds interesting!
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

Thank you for stopping by here!
Great list. I have read School by the Sea, and I will be reading Mapmaker’s Daughter. Beach always makes a good theme!
I. do enjoy books set on the beach.
I love all the watery terms! I came across tons of them while searching lists of books I’ve read and want to read. Apparently, I’m very drawn to these kinds of titles. There’s just something about water settings, you know? Is it because we lived in a land-locked state? Hmm…
Happy TTT!

That could be, as I live in a landlocked state too.
You’re in Arizona, right? Me, too 🙂
Are you in the Valley? We’re up in Flagstaff.
Lovely. I wouldn’t mind traveling to all of them. I love the Virgin River series.
Me too, Kimberly.
I used Virgin River, too. And I think it would be possible to use RaeAnne Thayne books only for this prompt. So many of her titles seem to include a geographical aspect (cove, trail, cape, road, etc).
I saw several RaeAnne Thayne books on this prompt!
These are all such lovely covers.
Thank you, Lydia!
Great list!
Thank you, Sarita
Loved Virgin River and Out of the Clear Blue Sky! This seemed like a challenging, but fun prompt!
Challenging and fun are such perfect ways to describe this week’s challenge
A very summery list of books, and the covers go so well together! 🙂
Thank you! The covers do go together even though I didn’t plan it that way!
Great choices, and I love the cute cover for The Beach Trap!
I agree, it’s so cute!
So many of these I want to read – and awesome to see a Jenny Colgan on there, she made my list too!
These are great choices. Part Of Your World is nice, and I’ve seen the Virgin River series on Netflix but haven’t read the series.
The Virgin River book series is better than the Netflix series IMO
This is a really fun top ten!
It was a good one! Thank you!
Summer at the Cape and Summer on the Island were both wonderful reads.
They sure were! Thank you!
The Beach Trip, Virgin River…so many great books on your list that I want to read. 😀
Thank you, Lark!
I haven’t read any of these, but I also have a Brenda Novak one on my list!
Lovely selection Wendy!
Elza Reads
Thank you!
Great list Wendy. I have read five of these and have two on my TBR. I love that you found ten different terms.
Thank you, Carla!
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I haven’t read any of your selections this week. As you know I had a very difficult time with this task this week. Apparently I don’t read many books with geographical terms. My list this week
It was a challenge for me too
Love this list, great approach you took to it 😊
Thank you, Jenny!
I was all over the place with this prompt and couldn’t decide on anything so I finally tweaked it a tiny bit! Have a great day!
Thank you, Cindy. I enjoyed your twist!
Did you notice that all your covers are blue/teal? 🙂 Great list – doesn’t look like you had too much trouble.
I did Not notice that! Thanks! That’s too funny.
Ooh, let’s see: Eclipse the Moon by Jessie Mihalik. The Secret of Bow Lane by Jennifer Ashley. I also read Part of Your World. All I could think of right now.
Those are great examples!
Fun prompt! I might read Belgrave Square. I couldn’t get into the first in the series… So we’ll see!
It’s not for everyone, but I’m enjoying he series.
Part of Your World! I wouldn’t have even thought to use “world”, but it is so perfect.
Thank you, Deanna!
What a great list of books with geographical titles! Celebration at Christmas Cove sounds like a great holiday read, I’d love to check it out. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you!
We love all the summer beach books included!
Thank you!
Great list Wendy. I need to do this one too 🤗📚💜
Thank you, Susan
This look like such a fun #TTT! Great choices Wendy – I love Abby Jimenez books!
