Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally, they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.
Synopsis:
A heartwarming novel about hope after loss as a young widow receives mysterious messages of love from the “must-buy author” (Jodi Picoult) of Eight Perfect Hours.
Sparkly and charming Natalie Fincher has it all—a handsome new husband, a fixer-upper cottage of her dreams, and the opportunity to tour with the musical she’s spent years writing. But when her husband suddenly dies, all her hopes and dreams instantly disappear.
Two and a half years later, Natalie is still lost. She works, sleeps (well, as much as the sexually frustrated village foxes will allow), and sees friends just often enough to allay their worries, but her life is empty. And she can only bring herself to play music at a London train station’s public piano where she can be anonymous. She’s lost motivation, faith in love, in happiness…in everything.
But when someone begins to mysteriously leave the sheet music for her husband’s favorite songs at the station’s piano, Natalie begins to feel a sense of hope and excitement for the first time. As she investigates just who could be doing this, Natalie finds herself on an unexpected journey toward newfound love for herself, for life, and maybe, for a special someone.
Why I Can’t Wait!
I really enjoyed Lia Louis’s previous book, Eight Perfect Hours, you can see my review here.

I’ve enjoyed both books I have read by Lia Louise and definitely want to read this one, thanks for the heads up Wendy.
Thank you, Carla. I sure hope we both enjoy her new book.
I haven’t read anything by thus author!
Thank you, Amber, I just discovered her last year.
A new Lia Louis book coming? Yes please! I adored Dear Emmie Blue and Eight Perfect Hours! The Key To My Heart is now added to my TBR. Thanks for letting me know about this book Wendy!
It’s pretty exciting. I hope we both love it as much as her other books.
Ooh I loved her previous book! Thank you for bringing this latest to my attention! Hope you love it Wendy!💞📚
Thank you, Kaceey! I hope it’s as good as her last one!
I remember saying you enjoyed the last book & I’ve added this to my list already 😊
Thank you, Jenny. I hope we both enjoy it!
Always Jodi Taylor’s next book! The next one in the Chronicles of St. Mary’s series is Catalogue of Catastrophe. The series is about a group of rowdy, time-traveling historians. I adore it. This is either Book 14 or 15. She also has a spinoff series, The Time Police, and has written a contemporary fantasy series, called Frogmorton Farm. I love all of her books!
Thank you, Bonnie. I just went to GR and added Just One Damned Thing After Another to my TBR!
Quite a while until this one is published. It amazes me how long the publishing process takes.
I know! It’s so far out. But, it’s an author I enjoy, so I’ll wait.
Lovely cover and it sounds great.
Thank you, Yesha!
I love the cover!! I hope you enjoy this when you get a chance to read it 🙂
Thank you, Cindy! I hope so too!
This one sounds like one that would leave me in a puddle of tears. I bet it’ll be an excellent read. Definitely worthy of anticipating.
Thank you, Tessa. I’ll be sure to have plenty of tissues nearby!
I read a small town romance by Laramie Briscoe over the weekend. There was a sneak peak at book two at the end of the book, but sadly it won’t be published until June! I was all ready to get book two straight away.
I don’t like waiting for the next book in a series, those waits seem especially long!
