Today’s Top 10: Books I Enjoyed, but Have Never Mentioned On My Blog. Auto-Buy Authors.
Today’s Top Ten topic is Books I Enjoyed, but Have Never Mentioned On My Blog, but since I’ve mentioned almost every book that I’ve enjoyed, I decided to do Top 10 Auto-Buy Authors.
- Katherine Center. I believe I’ve read everything she’s published.
2. Sophie Kinsella. I’ve read most of her books, but not all…yet!
3. Robyn Carr. I can’t say I’ve read ALL her books, but I have read most of them. To include all 21 books of her Virgin River series.
4. Susan Mallery. I’ve read most of her recent work, but not everything she’s written. She’s been writing for a while.
5. Kristan Higgins. I believe I’ve read every book she’s published. I like her combination of humorous and emotional books.
6. Christina Lauren. I haven’t read everything they’ve written, but I’ve loved every book I’ve read from them.
7. Helen Hoang. I love the way she represents characters on the Autism Spectrum.
8. Taylor Jenkins Reid. She writes such emotional and dramatic books, I love them!
9. Jodie Picoult. She just writes amazing books.
10. Debbie Macomber. She’s been writing for a long time, and although I haven’t read all her books, I’ve read many of them.

I’ve never read Katherine Center, but I have been wanting to read The Bodyguard. Sophie Kinsella used to be an auto-buy for me, but I have had some misses with her a few years ago, so she’s not on the top of my list. Christina Lauren is an author(s) that I I also have some that don’t work for me. However I am always up to check out her new books because they kind of go back and forth between what I do and don’t like. I’d say my auto-buys are Meghan Quinn, Sara Ney, Amy Daws, Helena Hunting, and Penny Reid!

I wouldn’t say I have auto-BUY authors, but I do have auto-READ authors. Picoult used to be one of them, although I haven’t read many of her newest ones. Even though I’m not much of a romance reader, I do enjoy Carr’s books. They’re just so warm and inviting. Incidentally, I’ve had a number of email exchanges with Carr and that’s exactly how I would describe her as a person. She’s lovely in so many ways.

So many great authors here! I’m impressed you’ve read all of Katherine Center. I’ve read all her recent books since How to Walk Away, but I need to go back and read her earlier books. I think I own them all, just need to find the time to read them. 🙂 Love Sophie Kinsella, Christina Lauren, Helen Hoang. TJR is a hit or miss for me. Some I like more than others. Great post!
I have wanted to read Daisy Jones and the Six for a while, but my library doesn’t have the ebook/audiobook yet (I have requested it), and Hoopla doesn’t have it. It’s been on my Kindle wishlist forever, but it hasn’t been on sale yet. I refuse to pay more than $5 for an ebook. 😁

Taylor Jenkins Reid is one I would consider an auto-buy author. She is such an amazing storyteller. Others would be Colleen Hoover, Mia Sheridan, Emma Scott, and Sarina Bowen. It’s great to find those unicorn authors! 🙂
I’ve read a few here and there by several of these authors so I get why they made your list. I’ve got a few autobuy authors like Carolyn Brown, Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, Danielle Garrett, and so many more. 🙂

I’ve read a couple of Kinsella’s books. They were good. I recently read my first Debbie Macomber book. I might make her books a Christmas time must.
