20 Books of Summer Challenge!

Posted May 22, 2022 by WendyW in bookblogger / 47 Comments

The 20 Books of Summer Challenge is hosted by 746 Books and runs between June 1st and September 1st. The aim is to read and review either 10, 15, or 20 books. I’ll be reading the full 20 books, and mostly ARCs. But, I’ve challenged myself to read 4 books that are not ARCs. The last 4 books are not ARCs, and are audiobooks as I do most of my personal reading via audiobook.

Are you participating in the 20 books of Summer? Have you read any of these books?

  1. I went back and forth trying to decide whether I wanted to include my ARCs or not. I ended up not, but I do have about 4 ARCs per month to read, so it will definitely make this challenge a challenge for me. 😉 I’ve only read The Bodyguard on your list, but it was one of my top 3 favorite books last year. I hope you enjoy it, as well. Several of your other books are on my tbr. Good luck!

  2. 20 books is ambitious! My amount of reading ebbs and flows, but I generally read more during the summer. Good luck!

  3. I haven’t read any of these, but several are on my radar like The Bodyguard, Love on the Brain and the new Roni Loren. Dog Friendly looks pretty cute, too. Happy reading this summer! 😀

  4. Dog Friendly looks adorable! I look forward to reading your review of that one for sure.

And, wow, you’re organized about what you read and when. 🙂

  5. What a great challenge Wendy! I love all the books you’ve chosen and I’m going to partcipate too! Thanks for sharing about this!

  6. So pleased to see you’re joining in Wendy🙂 all the very best. As always, I’m most interested in the books with dogs on the cover!

  7. Great to have you join in, Wendy. I loved The Bodyguard, A Man Called Ove and Diamond Eye. I’m sure you will enjoy all your books coming up.

  8. I keep thinking about doing this and maybe I will. I am looking for a job so I don’t know how my reading will go. However, having from June 1 to September, I should be able to commit. I also NEED to make myself read A Man Called Ove this summer.

  9. I have always had my eye on 20 Books of Summer and there are quite a few bloggers I know who always participate. It’s winter on my side of the world and someone I just can’t get myself to think in summer…

I need to start planning my years better!! You have a great selection of books to read for your challenge and I’ll keep an eye out for your reviews!

I really liked The Summer Place. I hope you enjoy your Summer reads. I really need to get my 20 books post sorted😳

  11. I read A Man Called Ove with my book club and enjoyed it very much. I would like to read Debbie Macomber’s book. All of your choices look like fun summer reads.
