Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.

Today’s Top 10: Top Ten Cozy Reads

1. The Grilled Cheese Mystery series by Linda Reilly. This is a fun, hunger-inducing cozy mystery series.

2. The By the Book Seris by Tamara Berry. This series is fun and cozy.

3. The A Friend for Hire Mystery series by Laura Bradford. This book is set in a small town and has a delightful dog.

4. The Nosey Parker Cozy Mystery series by Fiona Leitch. I want to read more of this cozy mystery series.

5. The Littlest Library by Poppy Alexander. I find this book cozy as it’s set in a small town and they turn a phone box into a library.

6. The Lost Ticket by Freya Sampson. This features a cast of unlikely people who become friends in order to help an older man with his dream.

7. The Getaway by Emily March. This new series is set in the fictional town of Lake in the Clouds, and it’s sounds like such a cozy place to live.

8. The Magic of Lemon Drop Pie by Rachel Linden. Lemon drop pie just sounds cozy to me. 🙂

9. The Christmas Bookshop by Jenny Colgan. Spending Christmas in a bookshop is very cozy.

10. The Christmas Spirit by Debbie Macomber. Spending time in a small town with a book by a favorite author is just about as cozy as it gets.

  1. I’ve only read The Christmas Bookshop from your list, but it was so very cozy! I’ve never read a cozy mystery and I’m determined to change that next year. You’ve given me plenty to consider. 🙂

  2. Cozy mysteries are my choice for cozy reads though Jenny Colgan books never fail to disappoint. I really want to read The Littlest Library and the new Emily March series. I have both on my TBR but had forgotten about them.

  3. I love all the cozy mysteries on your list, Wendy. I have read many of these and agree, they are cozy and give that warm, fuzzy feeling.

  4. Why haven’t I read The Littlest Library?! I have it on my TBR pile. The Lost Ticket sounds good too. These all sound like fun cozy reads. I really enjoy Colgan’s writing and need to read more of her work.

  5. These look fun! I feel like I haven’t read a cozy in ages. A few years ago I was reading them quite a bit and reviewing a fair amount of them too. I kinda miss those…

  6. Well, as you know, I’m a fan of the Grilled Cheese Mysteries, too. I have that on my list today. I read Buried in a Good Book. I think I’m in the minority when I say it didn’t feel too cozy to me. I found it difficult to connect with the main character. I know it’s very popular and well-liked by many, though. The Cozy Mystery Book Club will be reading and talking about that book in February, so I’m excited to find out what others thought. I have not yet read any books by Debbie Macomber, but I have one on my TBR for next year. Have a great (and cozy) evening. 🙂

    • I felt like I got to know Tess, the main character a bit better in the second book. But I can see that she’s a bit intense.

  7. I have a Jenny Colgan on my list too and Magic of Lemon Drop Pie is on my TBR. You mentioned The Uncommon Reader on my site – I really think you’d enjoy it; it’s super short and super fun.
    Thanks for visiting!

    • I just downloaded The Uncommon Reader, and I’m really looking forward to it. I love corgi’s and I’m fascinated by the Royal Family

  8. Aw, these sound so good! I still haven’t read The Littlest Library but it’s on my list. I really want to read The Christmas Bookshop too x

  9. Joanna @ TheGeekishBrunette

By the Book series is definitely a good pick for this one! I can’t wait for the third book.

  10. Definitely want to read Lemon Drop Pie. The grilled cheese series looks very tempting too. I’m sure these will make one want to eat pie and grilled cheese🥧🥪. Great list Wendy🙂

  11. Just about all of these are on my TBR, but I haven’t had time to read any of them… It’s ALMOST holidays and then the end of the year. Next year I will have to plan this better…..

Looking forward to digging into your recommendations!
