Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Today’s Top 10: My Favorite Book Series
The topic for today is Books I Would Hand to Someone Who Claims to Not Like Reading. But, I kept overthinking it, so I changed the topic for my blog to My favorite Book Series.
#1. The Virgin River Series by Robyn Carr. This series now has 21 books! Also, the series has been turned into a Netflix series and is already up to season 3. I’m a much bigger fan of the books than the series. I’ve read every book in this series. If you like small towns, romance, and realistic characters, this series is for you.
#2. There are 12 books in Sophia Kinsella’s very popular Shopaholic Series. I have read most, but not all of them, and have found them all very funny, and also heartfelt.
#3. The Sweet Magnolia series by Sherryl Woods has 11 books and has a Netflix show. Season one of the Netflix show is available and season 2 is scheduled for 2022. I’ve read all 11 of the books and also enjoy the show on Netflix.
#4. The Kiss Quotient series by Helen Hoang has 3 books, The Kiss Quotient, The Bride Test and The Heart Principle. I have not read The Bride Test yet, but I have it on my TBR. These books are fun, steamy and heartwarming.
#5. I have read many series by Nora Roberts, but her Born In series is one of her best in my opinion. There are three books in this series and I’ve read them all. If you like books about strong women, sisters and romance, this series is for you.
#6. The Friend Zone series by Abby Jimenez is another light, romantic comedy series that is just a lot of fun. There are 3 books in this series.
#7. The Sullivan’s Crossing series by Robyn Carr has 5 books in the series and I’ve read every one of them. I love that it’s set on the continental trail in Colorado.
#8. The Blue Heron series by Kristan Higgins is set in a winery in upstate New York. The series has 5 books. Kristan Higgins is one of my favorite authors because she has the perfect blend of humor and emotion in her books.
#9. The Silver Springs series by Brenda Novak has 9 books, and I haven’t read them all, but I have read most of them. For a pleasant, heartwarming series, this is the one for you.
#10. The Boonsboro Inn series by Nora Roberts has 3 books. This series is the definition of romance and Nora Roberts is the queen of romance. These books are set in a beautiful historic inn and the setting, the characters and the story are all perfect.

The original six Dune books, the Inkworld series, The Wayfarers books, The Raven Cycle (The Raven Boys), and the Discworld books are the first series that come to mind. ❤
I’ve heard excellent things about the Dune books.
What nice series! 🙂

Thank you Lydia!
Hey, hey, we’re on the same wavelength today! My list is about series I want to start in 2022. I enjoy the Virgin River series as well, but I’m not even sure where I am in it, it’s been so long since I read a V.R. book! Carr creates the coziest little towns, doesn’t she?
Happy TTT!

Thank you Susan! I just read your post, and I was pleasantly surprised that we’re thinking the same!
I don’t think I could pick ten, but I do enjoy many of these. I only read the first Boonsboro Inn book, and I really enjoyed it, I need to get back to it. Thanks for the reminder.
Thank you Carla. The Boonsboro Inn series was very good.
I’ve heard good things about The Kiss Quotient.
Thank you Greg, It was a good one.
I think I binged season 1 of Virgin River, but I haven’t gone back after the first or second episode of season 2.

Thank you Pam, I think the Virgin River books are so much better than the show.
Great selection! I’m looking forward to both The Heart Principle and Life’s Too Short of these.
Thank you Yvonne! They were both very good books for me.
I love Helen Hoang’s books! And the Shopaholic series is a lot of fun, too. Great TTT! 😀
Thank you Lark!
I have not watched season 3 of Virgin River yet, but I enjoyed the first two. I have wondered about the book series, I may have to try it 🙂
Thank you Cindy. I prefer the Virgin River Books to the show, but I still enjoy that show.
