Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.

3. For Butter or Worse by Erin La Rosa
4. Beneath His Silence by Hannah Linder.
5. Accomplished by Amanda Quain.
6. The Make-Up Test by Jenny L. Howe.
7. The Ballerinas by Rachel Kapelke-Dale.
8. The Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan.
9. Every Summer After by Carley Fortune.

Have you enjoyed any books by debut authors recently?
Great selection! I can’t wait to read Maame and Lessons In Chemistry.
Thank you, Yvonne
Great list! I also enjoyed Every Summer After. the minuscule mansion turned out okay for me.
I’m so bad at knowing which books are debuts! That’s why I skipped the TTT topic this week. I was just staring at my Goodreads shelves and going “Umm . . .”
Glad you’ve enjoyed these, because a few are books that I’m looking forward to reading 🙂
I just did a general debuts I’ve enjoyed topic as well, until going through everyone’s lists this week, I was woefully behind on 2023 debuts!

I really need to read The Daughter of the Moon Goddess asap! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier!
Thank you, Lauren. I hope you enjoy The Daughter of the Moon Goddess.
Enjoyed your list Wendy. I really should try and get to Lessons in Chemistry soon
Thank you, Mallika. Lessons in Chemstry is quirky and different. I think you’d like it.
I’m surprised I haven’t read any of these, but Every Summer After has been on my radar for a while. I’ve read such great reviews for it!
I think you’d enjoy Every Summer After.
MAAME is one I want to read. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Happy TTT!

I hope you like it too!
Lessons in Chemistry is on my TBR! I haven’t heard of most of these, though. Happy reading!
Lessons in Chemistry is so good!
Lessons in Chemistry is in my tbr pile… and I laughed at the Butter title.
Thank you, Kimberly. It’s a cute book
Beneath His Silence is in my TBR. I’m not sure I’ve read any debut authors yet this year… must remedy that!
I was surprised I read this many.
I also enjoyed Accomplished. It was a fun take on Pride and Prejudice.
Yes it was. Thank you, Teri!
I have a couple of these on my TBR thanks to your previous posts where you mentioned liking them. I’m looking forward to Daughter of the Moon Goddess and Minuscule Mansion – both sounds great.
Terrie @ Bookshelf Journeys
They are both very good. Thank you, Terrie
I love the pun in For Butter or Worse.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by earlier.
It’s a fun book for sure
We’re intrigued by The Ballerinas. It gives us Tiny Pretty Things vibes.
Yes, it was so good. And very interesting too. I hope you both enjoy it if you get to it.
I’ve heard such good things about Maame.
Thank you, Lydia. Maame is a good one
I love this topic switch! I wish I would have thought of it myself. I had to do something completely different because I don’t really follow debuts.
I couldn’t figue out which new books were from Debut authors.
I like how you changed the topic. I don’t think I’ve read any of these authors.
Thank you, Kristi
Nice twist on the topic. Maame and The Ballerinas caught my eye!
They were both very good!
I like your twist! I really want to read Every Summer After!! Lessons in Chemistry and Maame were so good!
Yes. I hope you enjoy Every Summer After
Nice twist, Wendy. I have read and enjoyed Ballerinas, The Make-Up Test and For Butter or Worse. I have a few of these others on my TBR. I jumped ship to Top 5 Tuesday, as I was finding these harder to do and taking too much time to put together.
These do take a lot of time to do. That’s a good idea to go to the Top 5 Tuesday
Great tweak for today’s topic!
Thank you, Cindy
I enjoyed both Lessons in Chemistry and Every Summer After. Thanks for introducing me to some new debut authors Wendy.
Thank you, Jodie
Great list Wendy! The only one I’ve read is Every Summer After!🤗📚💜
That one was so good! Thank you, Susan
I haven’t read any of these yet but heard lots about them, great list 😊
I hope you enjoy them, Jenny
I’ve enjoyed many of these too!
Thank you, Tessa!
I was scrolling to see Daughter of the Moon Goddess on this list 👀 Love your choices!
Of course! She’s so talented.
There were so many fantastic debut authors last year and this year seems to be just as good.
Yes! That’s good for the industry I think.
Also struggled a bit with this topic this week.
It was a tough topic for sure!
