Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
Today’s Top 10: Typographic Book Covers Book Covers with a Vehicle on it.
Today’s topic is Typographic Book Covers, which is a great topic, but, I couldn’t figure out how to do this topic this week, so I went with Covers with a Vehicle on it. So here are 10 books with some kind of vehicle on the cover!
1. Welcome to the School by the Sea by Jenny Colgan. Bicycle.
2. The Backup Plan by Jill Shalvis. SUV
3. Holiday Romance by Catherine Walsh. Airplane
4. The Mapmakers Daughter by Clare Marchant. Sailing ship.
5. The Lost Ticket by Freya Sampson. Bus.
6. Lost and Found in Paris by Lian Dolan. Bicycle.
7. Our Little World by Karen Winn. Cars.
8. Girls of Flight City by Lorrain Heath. Airplane.
9. Buried in a Good Book by Tamara Berry. Canoe.
10. The Road Trip by Beth O’Leary. Car.
Have you read any of these books? Comment below!
This is a fun twist! I read and enjoyed Our Little World and The Road Trip. I’m intrigued by Holiday Romance. 🙂
I’m still loving the cover of The Lost Ticket. ❤
It’s so cute. That cover is adorable
Great topic change!! Much more fun, in my opinion! 🙂
Thank you, Leslie! I had fun putting the post together
I could have sworn I already commented on this post. If I did, just delete the duplicate comment.
This is a fun topic. You should submit it to Jana so it can be an official one. I think it would be a good one.
I actually love covers like the one for OUR LITTLE WORLD, where there’s one little thing wrong with an otherwise normal-looking scene. It shows that something sinister is going on under the surface, which happens to be one of my favorite tropes!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

You did! But for some reason, your posts are going to spam. Sorry.
I prefer covers with pictures in addition to interesting fonts. Good choice of topic.
Fun take on this weeks topic! I loved The Road Trip and I would like to read Buried in a Good Book.
Sometimes you just have to go your own way. 🙂 Love the variety of vehicles you found!
Aah clever Wendy! You should send this one in to Jana so that we can ALL do it at some stage for TTT. Love how you have so many different vehicles on here!

Love this prompt. Amazing list!
Love your picks, Wendy!
Thank you, Sara!
Oooh! Fun topic. I love this one. You should submit it to Jana for an “official” prompt. I’ve read BURIED IN A GOOD BOOK, which I loved, but that’s it from your list.
Happy TTT!

Buried in a good book is a lot of fun
Fun topic! Now I want to go back to see what books I have on my TBR that have a vehicle on the cover! I know it is several because I see quite a few books on your list that I know are on my TBR!
It was a fun topic.
Oooh! Interesting topic! Great list!
Thank you, Ronyell!
Nice choices.
Thank you, Nadene
I love your topic for the week! I forget how many vehicles have actually been on covers. 😍
Thank you, Joanna!
I couldn’t figure out how to do this week’s TTT either. I love that you went with book covers with a vehicle on them instead. So fun! 😀
Thank you, Lark!
Nice list and interesting change in prompt. I don’t know much about these books, but they look like fun reads.
Have a great week 😊
Thank you, Rae
I thought this week’s topic was really fun but I also like your alternate. There are a couple topics coming up in the next few weeks that I’m not in love with so may just borrow your idea for one of those. These are all fun covers, none of which I’ve read. The Mapmakers Daughter sounds intriguing.

Thank you, Terrie! I bet you find a lot of cool book covers with vehicles on it.
Nice pick! Lost and Found in Paris, Our Little World and Girls of Flight City might be my faves. 🙂
Thank you, Greg!
I had a tough time with this week’s top ten list. I almost skipped it entirely. I like the way you modified it. The only one on your list I read was Buried in a Good Book, but the others look good. I am most curious about Holiday Romance. 🙂
I really enjoyed Holiday Romance. It was very sweet.
Another lovely list for your top ten post 😊
Thank you, Jenny!
Great list of books you made! I love how many different vehicles you used.
Thank you, Stephanie
You picked so many different types of vehicles. How fun. 🙂

Thank you, Lydia
Covers with a vehicle on it. That’s unique! It made me think about some I’ve read. I like your choices here.
Thank you, Deanna!
I’ve read several of these book and I like how you’ve changed this week’s topic (I don’t even think I own a book with only the title on the front). Thanks for sharing Wendy!
Thank you, Jodie. I always have a few ideas brewing in case the topic is something that I don’t want to do that week.
I think that topic would have stumped me too. I enjoyed your vehicle choices.
Thank you, Cathy. It was a simpler topic than I thought it was. I definitely overthought it! LOL
Lost and Found in Paris looks like a good one, especially with travelling on a bicycle!
It was an excellent book!
Lovely choices 😍
Thank you, Tessa!
Such a creative topic!
Thank you, Rae!
Way to go rogue, Wendy! 🙂 I love the cover of The Backup Plan and hope to start it soon.
I hope you enjoy it, Tanya!
Wonderful picks Wendy!📚☕💜

Great topic! I had fun finding the vehicles 🙂 Have a great day!
Thank you, Cindy!
