What I’m up to:
I had a nice quiet week and got a lot of reading, reviewing, and blogging done. I like to schedule book reviews and other posts out a few weeks, so I’m now scheduled out for several weeks, and that gives me a cushion if something comes up at home.
Balto got his cone off yesterday and he seems very happy to have it off. But, he never seemed UNHAPPY when he was wearing it. Dogs are just so accepting of things.
Last week I read:

Aww, cute dog. It’s awesome that he was accepting of the cone. Every dog I’ve had would go nuts trying to get them off. I guess your dog is more chill than mine.
Thank you AJ, he was in an abusive home before he came here, so he seems grateful just to be in a happy dog home.
You had a very productive week and yay Balto!
Thank you Amber!
I love the expression on Balto’s face! 😁 I’m happy to hear he is now a free man. 🤗
I hope your week has started well. 🌞
Thank you! He’s slowly learning some manners and settling in. Hope you have a great week too!
Balto does look happy! What a handsome, sweet friend he is!
Thank you, Jolene. He’s an incredibly happy dog.
You had a busy week, Wendy. It certainly eases the pressure when we manage to get stuff done before they’re due.
Balto looks like a very happy boy. 💙
Thank you Kim!
I’m glad Balto has his cone off, now!
And I like to schedule blog posts ahead, too. Right now I have the rest of January’s and all of February’s posts ready to go. Isn’t it nice to have that flexibility? 🙂
Yes! It really helps me to have a few weeks of cushion
I wish I had time to schedule that far in advance! I’m happy to see you enjoyed Hook, Line and Sinker so much. I’m looking forward to it, too.
Balto does look happy!
Thank you Rachel, it was so good!
Yay for the cone being off! Although it’s nice he didn’t seem to have too much trouble with it…
Have a great week ahead!
Thank you Greg, he’s such a happy dog.
Wow, you had a great reading week, Wendy and it is great that you loved all the books you read. Balto is so sweet and I hope he starts gaining weight for you guys. I wish I could plan ahead, but I am too much of a procrastinator. Have a great week, Wendy.
Thank you Carla!
Aww… Balto looks so happy ❤️. I’m glad you enjoyed Murder on the Menu. I thought it was very good too. Have a great week!
Thank you Tessa!
I wish I could have some dedicated blogging time to prepare more posts ahead of time. Right now it seems I’m lucky to be a week ahead, if that. My personal computer time is so limited. I am glad Balto is cone-less again! Look at all those great books you read and have coming up! By Any Other Name looks really cute. I hope you have a great week, Wendy! Happy reading!
Thank you Wendy. I’m retired so I do have a lot of time for this blogging. By Any Other Name was very cute and I liked it a lot.
Great week of reviewing! You are so organized, but I understand about the unplanned events. I always have too many of those.
Thank you Linda. I have the time, so I like to stay organized. Happy Reading!
You really read some great books! I was reading a bunch of freebies which weren’t all as good. Having the cushion gives you a chance to do some mood reading or try some books you got free or already own
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Thank you Anne! I have started being a bit more picky on what I read to be almost sure I’ll enjoy it.
I never seem to get far ahead…but maybe someday 🙂 Have a great day!
Thank you Cindy. It helps me, but it takes a lot of time!
I try to schedule posts ahead of time, especially reviews, but then life gets in the way. Hopefully, this week while I’m off work, I can get a few posts written, so I don’t feel so stressed when I don’t have the time.
I hope you can find the time to get some posts scheduled.
Looks like you had a great reading week 😊
Thank you Jenny!
