What I’m Up To:

We had a quiet week. I spent Sunday and Monday obsessively finishing the Shadow and Bone trilogy. I listened to them all on audiobook and then I had to start watching the Netflix series of Shadow and Bone.

Last week I read:

I had a good week of reading. All the books this week were enjoyable, however, my favorites were Siege and Storm, Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo and The Last Daughter of York by Nicola Cornick.

Since I finished the Shadow And Bone trilogy audiobooks, I’m now watching the Netflix series.

  1. My husband and daughter read the Shadow and Bone series and loved it. My daughter said the series is really good, but she had a lot of time between reading and watching. Sometimes if I read and then watch I’m comparing the series a lot and it usually falls short, lol. I’m interested in hearing how it compares and if you enjoy it. 🙂

    • I really enjoyed the show, and the books. I enjoyed seeing the characters and the setting in “real life” and was happy that most everything was pretty close to what I had visualized in my head. The show has some characters from her next series, The Six of Crows, and since I’m reading that now, its fun to see those characters in “real life” too.
