What I’m Up To:

I’ve had another busy week, helping my son move back and sort through all his stuff. We’ve had a lot of rain again this week, and even a tornado warning! Heavy rain in October is pretty rare for Northern Arizona and tornadoes are extremely rare here. We used to live in central Illinois, so a tornado warning is not as alarming to us, we just watch the weather radar, and nothing ever came close to us.

Last week I read:

I had a great week of reading! So many good books. All the books this week were enjoyable, however, my favorites were Finlay Donavan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano, and Made in Manhattan by Lauren Layne.

  1. I wish you could send some of that rain this way. Just a bit northwest, please. 🙂 I hope your son is settling in well. My mom is busy packing and met with the movers this past week to get an estimate. She’s hoping to move down this way the end of the month. Your reading this past week looked like a lot of fun. I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reading!

    • I’d love to send you the rain! But, I fear we’ll have 20 years of drought after this crazy rainy summer. I bet you’ll be glad to have your Mom nearby!

  2. We had a lot of rain in Southern California last Tuesday and it wasn’t in the forecast. It was really unusual for us, but rain is always welcome! We’re always on drought watch.

I have my eye on that Lauren Layne.

    • My sisters both live in So Cal, and they love the rain whenever they can get it! Made in Manhattan by Lauren Layne was a good one!

Hope you enjoy How to love Your Neighbor. I’m curious about that one! Happy reading Wendy!💕📚🤓

  4. I’m such a fan of the Findlay Donovan series. And that weather- crazy. Hopefully this week will have better weather. 🤞❤️

  5. I’m glad you enjoy Finlay Donovan as I enjoyed that book too! I have the second in the series but have a number to read first. I can’t wait for you to read Eight Perfect Hours! I hope it touched you the way it did me. Thanks for sharing your week!

    • Thank you Jodie! I really enjoyed Finlay Donavan and I have her second book too. I just finished Eight Perfect Hours and absolutely loved it. Thanks so much for the recommendation!!

I’m looking forward to your review of the Jenny Colgan. I’m hoping to read that later this year (nearer Christmas)😀
