What I’m Up To:

I’m camping again. We’re at Brian Head, UT, in the woods, elevation 10,000ft! Brian Head is a ski resort in southern Utah and is just as active in the summer as it is in the winter! We’ve been here since Tuesday and are having a great time. We met up with my Sister who has a condo here, and my brother joins us. This week has been especially busy as my sister is re-modeling her condo, so we’ve been out looking at paint colors, and helping deal with contractors.

Our campsite has a partial view of Cedar Breaks National Monument which is close by.

We also took a quick trip to Zion National Park and visited the Kolb Canyon part of the park.

  1. It’s been ages since we’ve been camping. I was kind of hoping we would make it up to Idyllwild this summer, but it wasn’t meant to be. My in-laws moved to Utah a couple years ago, but we haven’t had a chance to visit them yet. One of these days . . . I think it would be fun to visit Zion National Park. From the photos I’ve seen, it’s quite breathtaking. I hope you are enjoying your reading!

    • Thank you Wendy. Utah has so many great National Parks! Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef are the large parks in the state. They are all so beautiful. I hope you can get there one day.

  2. I have never been anywhere near the west coast! The pictures you shared are lovely. I love all the Christmas books!! I have only read one so far this season, but I do have a few more that I will be reviewing 🙂

    • Thank you Cindy. I’m almost done with my Christmas books for now, I sure requested a lot of them. But, everyone I’ve read has been enjoyable.

  3. So great that you have started to get into your Christmas books. I am going to start in October. It sounds like you had a nice week, even if it was really busy. Have a great week, Wendy.

    • Thank you Kaceey, I’ve been looking forward to it ever since your review, but have been waiting for some quiet time, so I can take my time with it.
