I have quite a haul this week!

I don’t read many thrillers, but I like this author.

Kristan Higgins is one of my favorite authors, and I like her balance of humor and emotion. Plus she always has a dog in her books. 🙂

I read the previous book in this series and loved it!

I liked the blurb for this book.

I’ve heard good things about this author. And the blurb looks cute.

I’ve been enjoying paranormal romances lately, and this looks cute.

But the witch is funny. And curvy. And disgustingly yet endearingly cheerful. Becoming awkward roommates quickly escalates when Mariel, terrified to confess the inadvertent summoning to her mother, blurts out that she’s dating Ozroth. As Ozroth and Mariel struggle with their opposing goals and maintaining a fake relationship, real attraction blooms between them. But Ozroth has a limited amount of time to strike the deal, and if Mariel gives up her soul, she’ll lose all her emotions—including love—which will only spell disaster for them both.

I’ve always had a bad case of Wanderlust myself, and the next best thing to traveling on my own, is traveling through a book.

I’m getting a bit addicted to this series! It gets better and better.

This was on my list of books I’ve been anticipating in 2023, and I’m almost done with it and am loving it.
