I loved her book, Killers of a Certain Age, and although I have not been reading the Veronica Speedwell series, I’ve heard it’s very good.

Synopsis: Veronica must find and stop a devious killer when a group of old friends is targeted for death in this new adventure from the New York Times bestselling and Edgar Award–nominated author Deanna Raybourn.

Veronica’s natural-historian beau, Stoker, has been away in Bavaria for months and their relationship is at an impasse. I haven’t read anything by Katy Birchall yet, but I’ve been wanting to.

I read a previous book by Amanda Quinn and really enjoyed it. Plus, I’m a sucker for a good Jane Austen retelling especially with some paranormal elements.
