Love at First

by Kate Clayborn

A full 5 Stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Wow!  I have loved every book by Kate Clayborn, and this one did not disappoint.  It’s not just the main characters, but the entire community who stole my heart.

Will, at 15 goes with his mother to meet an uncle he never knew existed. At his uncles apartment building he meets Nora and is mesmerized by her beauty and her voice.  His visit to the apartment is short, and he doesn’t get a chance to talk with her/

Many years later, Will becomes a doctor who inherits his uncle’s apartment and finds Nora living in her Grandmother’s apartment after she passed away.   Nora, and the other residents of the apartment building are not happy to have a short term rental in their building.  So, Nora and the other residents try some light sabotage to delay Will’s renovation of his apartment.

The love story between Will and Nora is slow, but beautiful.  They have conflicting motivations, but the strong attraction makes it difficult to remain enemies.  The added cast of characters makes this story and emotional read and very entertaining.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a love story with a community feel.
