New York Times and USA Today bestseller Roni Loren brings the heat in this compelling story of:

A woman struggling to find her place in the world
A man with a secret inner life
An unexpected friendship with sizzling benefits
And an emotional turning point that changes everything
Eliza Catalano has the perfect life. So what if it actually looks nothing like the story she tells online? As a therapist, it's part of her job to look like she has all the answers, right? But when Eliza ends up as a viral "Worst Date Ever" meme, everything in her Instagram-filtered world begins to crumble.

Enter the most obnoxiously attractive man she's ever met, and a bet she can't resist: if she swears off social media for six months, Beck Carter'll teach her the wonders of surviving the "real world." No technology, no dating apps, no pretty filters, no BS.

It seems like the perfect deal—she can lay low until her sudden infamy passes, meet some interesting new people, and maybe even curate this experience into a how I quit the online dating racket book along the way. But something about Beck's raw honesty speaks to Eliza in ways she never expected. She knows he's supposed to be completely hands-off...but as complex feelings grow and walls come tumbling down, rough-around-the-edges Beck may be exactly what Eliza needs to finally, truly face herself—and decide who she really wants to be.

For You & No One Else by Roni Loren is the third book in her very popular Say Everything series.  This spicy and emotional, friends-to-lovers story was a wonderful addition to the series.

Eliza Catalano is a therapist with a youtube channel.  She gives advice to her clients and to her channel subscribers, and she believes she has a perfect life.  So, when a bad date goes viral, she decides, to withdraw from all her social media accounts.  Beckham, a computer security expert, who works in the office next to hers, decides to help her withdraw from her social media.  They make a bet to see if she can make it 6 months without any social media.

I really enjoyed this story.  Roni Loren knows how to make relatable characters and give them a great story.  The romance was believable and pretty steamy too! Both Eliza and Beck have some heavy emotional baggage, and I enjoyed watching them both work through their issues.  They supported each other and complimented each other’s personalities.   I always like it when a couple becomes or are friends first, and this is the case in this book.  They really enjoy each other’s company, and the attractions come later.  As an animal lover, I especially enjoyed their trip to the local animal shelter together.

The pace seemed a bit slower than in her previous books, but not too slow.  It’s sad that this is the last book in the series, but I’m confident that Roni Loren will come up with a new and exciting series.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance.  I received a complimentary copy of this book.  The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

About Roni Loren

Roni wrote her first romance novel at age fifteen when she discovered writing about boys was way easier than actually talking to them. Since then, her flirting skills haven’t improved, but she likes to think her storytelling ability has. After earning a master’s degree in social work from LSU, she worked in a mental health hospital, counseled birthmothers as an adoption coordinator, and did management recruiting in her PJs. But she always returned to writing.

Though she’ll forever be a New Orleans girl at heart, she now lives in North Texas with her husband and son. If she’s not working on her latest story, you can find her cooking, reading, or picking up another hobby she doesn't need. She is a two-time RITA Award winner and a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author.

    • It’s a fun series, I think you’ll enjoy it, Lisa! I loved your Book Bonanza post! Looks like you had a wonderful time.

  1. This sounds lovely. I always like social media part and bad things going viral in books. It makes story interesting adn dramatic. Excellent review, Wendy!

  2. This sounds like a great book! I like that the characters are relatable and the romance was believable. I definitely want to check out this series. Wonderful review Wendy!

  3. I think it is such a mistake for people to put so much out there on social media. The negative impact can reverberate far and wide and through the ages–even when the poster thinks they have deleted it! The cover on this one does not attract me. Does it mean more to you having read the book?

    • Thank you, Lydia. We’re not rushing around like most vacations. We’re taking our time, and my husband also has work he needs to do, so it’s a bit of a working vacation

  4. Sounds a good one. Will be interesting to see how long she can keep off social media. I love the idea of the trip to the animal shelter as well. Glad you enjoyed this one, Wendy 🙂
