Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Each week a new theme is suggested for bloggers to participate in. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want. Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
Today’s Top 10: Memorable Things Characters Have Said My Top Ten To Be Read Books
Today’s Top Ten Topic is “Memorable Things Characters Have Said (quotes from book characters that have stuck with you)”. Since I don’t remember quotes from books, I can’t do this topic today. I generally remember characters, plots, and settings, but not quotes.
Instead, I’m doing a list of the Top Ten To Be Read Books. These are all books that have been published and are not ARC’s or Galleys. Since cooler weather is here, I’ll have more time (theoretically) to read and work on my TBR.
#1. The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren. This book is sitting on my shelf waiting for me to open it up! I love everything by Christina Lauren, so I’m really looking forward to this one.
#2. The Party Crasher by Sophie Kinsella. I have enjoyed all her other books, and have seen reviews for this and want to read it.
#3. The Well Met Series by Jen DeLuca. I love that these books are set in a renaissance faire.
#4. The Bride Test by Helen Hoang is the second book in her The Kiss Quotient series. I’ve read the first book, The Kiss Quotient, and the third book, The Heart Principle, and loved those books.
#5. Take a Hint, Dani Brown, and Act Your Age, Eve Brown are books #2 and #3 of the Brown Sisters series. I’ve read the first book, Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert and really enjoyed it.
#6. The Wish by Nicholas Sparks is on my list because I enjoy most of his books, and have read reviews that The Wish is very good too.
#7. I’ve been wanting to read the Practical Magic series by Alice Hoffman for quite a while. Now that the second book of the series, The Book of Magic, came out in October, I’m ready to read them all in order.
#8. I should be tired of Christmas books by now, but I want to read The Christmas Wedding Guest by Susan Mallery because I love her writing, and I’ve seen some great reviews.
#9. Chance of a Lifetime and An Impossible Promise are both by Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets and are part of their Providence Falls series. I haven’t read a book by Jude Deveraux in years. I’ve read reviews for these books and it looks like a lovely series.
#10. The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood is just the kind of book I love. It’s on my kindle, just waiting for me to read it!
11. The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin is on my list because I’ve seen so many rave reviews!
What is on your TBR? What should I add to my TBR? Comment below!
I don’t read much romance, but I did enjoy THE UNHONEYMOONERS. It’s a fun read. I also think THE LOVE HYPOTHESIS looks cute. That cover is adorable!
Happy TTT (on a Thursday)!

I vote for you to push The One Hundred Years of Lenni & Margot to the top of your TBR. I will warn you, though, to have a box of tissues handy when you get near the end.

I’m with you Wendy, I don’t remember quotes and I don’t write them down. I like your list. The Party Crasher, Well Met series, and The Wish are all on my TBR as well. I have read most of the others and think you will enjoy them all.
Thank you Carla! If you’ve enjoyed them, I know I will too.
